The Leadership
David Shelton
Chief Executive Officer
David Shelton serves as Chief Executive Officer for Aidéo. He has served in senior healthcare management for 20+ years, with experience in technology development, operations, insurance and manufacturing.
His expertise includes delivering business growth, streamlining operational management and generating profitability for Aideo Technologies and its clients. He is an active member of both Healthcare and Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
David holds a BA in Business Management from Texas Wesleyan University and resides in Fort Worth, TX.
Sheila Patel
Senior Vice President
Sheila serves as Aidéo’s Senior Vice President, where she heads the entire operation of the company. She has over twenty years’ experience leading global implementations and integrations across several Enterprise Resource Planning platforms, where she developed expertise in collaboration, communication, and analytics across several diverse industries. Prior to joining Aidéo, she held product management positions with Oracle and Cisco Systems.
Sheila holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance, and resides in Dublin, California.
Rod Jardine
Chief Technical Officer
Rod Jardine is an accomplished product, technology, and engineering leader with 25 years of experience leading global cross-functional teams and delivering premier SaaS products in the ever-changing healthcare industry.
Before joining Aidéo, Jardine co-founded and served as Chief Technology Officer at HeathBook+. He led its inaugural product launch, introducing its web, mobile, and data science solution tailored to analyze historical healthcare, wearable, and social determinants of health data, elevating health with data-driven insights.
As Chief Information Officer at Landmark Health, Jardine played a pivotal role in orchestrating transformative initiatives to enhance in-home medical care for individuals with chronic health conditions.
As Chief Technology Officer at DST Health Solutions (acquired by SS&C Technologies), Jardine led the global product engineering team and oversaw IT operations, security, robotics, EDI, and process automation services for over 180 clients, processing 270 million claims, executing 7 million batch jobs, and 240 million EDI transactions annually.
Jardine earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Brandon University in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada.
Marcia Leighton
Vice President, Operations
Marcia Leighton, who is Aidéo’s Vice President, Operations, has experience in both the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services sector and private medical practice. She has a wealth of knowledge in business process workflow design, health informatics, and the implementation of the full scope of RCM tools.
Leighton is the current Chapter President of HFMA, West Virginia. Most recently, she was at MC3 Consulting as a revenue cycle leader for multi-specialty provider Clinical Associates and as the Executive Director of Client Services for Firstsource.
Marsha S. Diamond
Director of Coding Solutions
Marsha Diamond, CPC, COC, CCS, CPMA, AAPC Fellow, is the Director of Coding Solutions at Aidéo. She is a nationally recognized educator, speaker, and author with over 30 years of experience in the medical coding, billing, and healthcare reimbursement fields. Diamond is a past AAPC National Advisory Board Member as well AAPC National Conference speaker. Additionally, she served as President of the AAPC Orlando Chapter for a number of years.
In 2019 she was named Mentor of the Year by the Florida Health Information Managers Association for her contributions to their membership. Additionally, Diamond is the Program Director of Coding and Health Information at Central Florida College in Orlando, FL.
